I’ve got some exciting news that I can’t wait to share.

And no it doesn’t have to do with Harry Potter!!!

Lynsey Lue Photography now has a new look! With this new look, I have also decided to focus on High School Seniors. This hasn’t been an easy decision but I’m really excited for my new adventure. When I first started learning photography, seniors were where I learned. It therefore became my first love! It has always been a favorite of mine and has always made me really happy. I feel more creative and love working one on one with grads to give them the final images they love.

You may have noticed on social media that I’ve started only posting pictures relating to seniors. This was my way of slowly breaking the news while I worked on revamping my website. A couple years ago, I had a beautiful logo created with multiple aspects of the logo that I loved. but never used. I also tried to design my site that was popular and what everyone else was doing. Neither of those things made me happy. I wanted a website that spoke to my soul, had color but still had a vintage and classic look, and used more of my beautiful logo accessories. I’m excited for you to see them all!

You may be wondering if I’m still shooting weddings or other kinds of portraits. The answer is yes but I am leaving open limited days a month for them. I am not a full time photographer, which means that I also make my income elsewhere. I currently am a paraprofessional with a short term goal to finishing my certification to become a teacher. I started working with individuals with autism to help keep me busy during slow times and realized it was exactly what I wanted to do. So I am following that dream. I am also in my fifth year of coaching volleyball and absolutely love that. Coaching was always something I wanted to do. So I’m doing it, as much as possible. I am currently associate and second shooting weddings for other photographers which feeds my wedding itch. With that being said, I will not turn away a wedding that fits my schedule. Feel free to contact me with your other portrait needs as well!

All of these changes have been me following my dreams. It’s easy to assume that photographers photograph everything, or want to. As much as I love being apart of my clients’ lives, senior photography has had my heart since the beginning. I decided to follow my heart and stick with what makes me happy. I live a busy life that keeps me going but I love it. All of the things I am doing now fill my heart with happiness and creativity. Some of these things I didn’t have confidence to do in the past… or to admit that I just wanted to focus on one thing… so I decided to take the leap and follow my dreams! My advice is to follow your dreams and make your heart happy!!
